Road to Mercy

We are thrilled that Springfield’s second Ronald McDonald House is open! Located on the sixth floor of Mercy Children’s Hospital, since November 30, 2012, this 8,200-square-foot “home away from home” has been welcoming up to 10 families every night for overnight stays, as well as even more families that can benefit from our services during daytime-only visits.  Be sure to look at our video series that tells the story of our “House that Love Built®” — click on the “Road to Mercy Updates” tab.

Below is an illustrated floor plan. We are so happy to be helping even more families of seriously ill or injured children during their times of need.

Thanks to the generosity of Rick’s Automotive, we’ve been able to give you a VIP view of our new House progress with the Road to Mercy House Updates. Every Thursday, a “Road to Mercy House” video update was  posted on this page, which can also be accessed at Take a few minutes, scroll down to the bottom of this page and start with the first video and watch our progress each week, video by video.  The video at the top of this page was shown at our Grand Opening Celebration and was contributed by ADsmith Communications.  Take a look!
